Dominik Szoboszlai, a midfielder for Liverpool, has started a mild debate among the Reds’ teammates by asserting that he is speedier than recent acquisition Federico Chiesa.
Chiesa’s designation as the team’s fastest player drew criticism from Szoboszlai in a video that showed Liverpool players responding to their EA Sports ratings.
Szoboszlai declared, “My pace should be the highest on the team,” and then he issued a challenge to Chiesa to a race.
“I’m quicker than he is! I’m faster if you put me on this one right now! Szoboszlai said.
Chiesa, who was renowned for his quick reflexes, had scored 93, placing him just ahead of Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz, who both scored 90.
The hosts of the video, Diogo Jota and Alexis Mac Allister, found Szoboszlai’s bold statement humorous.
Mac Allister quipped that he would race Nunez, Chiesa, and Diaz to win the debate, with a pace rating of 69.
The exchange highlights the rivalry and teamwork among Liverpool’s players.
