In recent months, one of the club’s icons underwent a significant transformation that Liverpool supporters had to get used to.
Supporters were taken aback when the great Mohamed Salah cut off all of his hair in the summer since they had grown accustomed to seeing him sport his signature curly afro.
After witnessing Mo return to his typical, goal-scoring form on the pitch, supporters are likely accustomed to seeing Liverpool’s Egyptian King with a short back and sides.
Salah may have long-term plans to grow back into his old appearance, which is something we’ll all be eagerly awaiting to hear about as the Anfield season progresses.
Meanwhile, a different former Kop icon has been hard at work creating a fresh appearance for himself.
Pictures have surfaced suggesting that Luis Suarez, who is currently playing with Lionel Messi in Miami, has made a significant shift of his own.
Luis Suarez turns fair
Suarez is obviously nothing like being in Salah’s league when it comes to Liverpool greats.
When the Egyptian ultimately leaves the team, he will be remembered as one of the greatest players in Liverpool’s history.
Salah was recently included by Jamie Carragher in his all-time Liverpool starting lineup, and it is now widely accepted that the 32-year-old is worthy of being among that group of players.
Carragher did point out, though, that Suarez might have made it into his fantasy squad if the Uruguayan had stayed at Liverpool a little longer and the Reds had taken home a major prize.
Suarez was fantastic for Liverpool, but it was a shame that he played during a period when the squad wasn’t regularly contending for titles.
Still, he gave it everything he had to lead the Reds to the Premier League title in 2013–14 and came extremely close to doing so.
In any case, Suarez will be remembered more for this experience away from Liverpool in the long run. One of the best partnerships in football history exists between him and Messi and Neymar at Barcelona.
It was common to see Messi or Neymar with bleached white hair during those days. However, Suarez consistently wore his hair jet black and short.
.
According to an Instagram post by Inter Miami, the 37-year-old has now made the decision to alter everything. Suarez is pictured on Thursday in training, with a striking shock of white-yellow hair. Whoa.
What is Luis Suarez’s current Inter Miami situation?
It’s probably reasonable to argue that Suarez is still a little underappreciated in spite of everything that he has accomplished throughout his career.
The 37-year-old is unquestionably one of the greatest players of all time because he was the only player in La Liga to outscore both Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo during their prime.
Suarez is still scoring goals now, far into his thirties, albeit at a lower rate.
Suarez signed with Inter Miami in December of last year after hitting 26 in 53 games for Gremio. The former Liverpool No. 7 is back with Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, and he has scored 21 goals in 30 games thus far.
Suarez announced his retirement from the Uruguay national team earlier this month, and it won’t be long before he leaves for good. Suarez, though, seemed committed to having a little fun in the interim.
