24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic attended Al-Hilal’s Saudi Pro League match against Al-Feiha on Friday (Oct. 18) at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. This comes just a day after his loss against Jannik Sinner in the semifinals of the Six Kings Slam.

The match saw Al-Hilhal beat Al Feiha 3-0 with Marcos Leonardo, Salem Aldawsari, and Mohammed Al-Qahtani registering their names on the scoresheet. With this victory, Al-Hilal extended their winning streak to seven in this 2024-25 season.

During his time at the stadium, Djokovic donned an Al-Hilal scarf to support the side featuring his Serbian countrymates, Aleksander Mitrovic and Sergej Milinkovoc-Savic. Nole also met Neymar at the Kingdom Arena and shared a moment with him backstage. The Serb also received a special Al-Hilal team jersey from the Brazilian.

Al-Hilal’s Instagram handle shared some glimpses from this meetup between Djokovic and Neymar with the caption:

“The Legends of the games @neymarjr 🤝 @djokernole”

After the match, Djokovic also stepped in for a photo with his fellow Serbs as he flaunted his recently received Al-Hilal jersey.

The Serb is a big fan of football and has been spotted supporting various prominent clubs such as AC Milan and Manchester United in the past.

Novak Djokovic shed light on his disappointing performance against World No.1 Jannik Sinner on Thursday (Oct 18). The Serb lost the clash in three sets 6-2, 6-7 (0), 6-4 as he missed out on an opportunity to grab the $6 million prize money.

This is the Serb’s third consecutive loss this season to Sinner after the Australian Open and Shanghai Masters. After his defeat, Djokovic had some high praise for his Italian counterpart and also called himself ‘lucky’ for winning the second set.

Djokovic stated (via Tennis.com):

“I was on the ropes the entire match. He was the better player. I was just lucky to get through the second set. In the third, I had some chances when I broke his serve at 4-3. The noise was amazing in the stadium. It was fun. I really enjoyed playing here in Saudi in December.”

Following this defeat against the Italian, Novak Djokovic will go up against his long-time rival Rafael Nadal for the third place. The match is scheduled to be held on Saturday and is also expected to be the final clash between these two giants of the sport.
