Novak Djokovic’s outfit for the 2024 ATP Finals has been revealed. The 37-year-old will be looking to defend his title in Turin, with the tournament set to take place from November 10 to November 17.
A user on X (formerly Twitter) shared the Serb’s outfit on Sunday. The kit features green as the main color, bold black geometric shapes across the front, and a black collar designed by his sponsor, Lacoste.
The Serb’s partnership with Lacoste began in 2017, following previous sponsorships with Adidas, Italian brand Sergio Tacchini, and Uniqlo. In 2021, the 37-year-old extended his contract with the French fashion house until 2025.
At last season’s ATP Finals, Djokovic started by defeating Holger Rune in his first group stage match, then lost to Jannik Sinner in the second match before bouncing back to beat Hubert Hurkacz in the third group stage match, securing a spot in the semifinals. In the semifinal, he won against Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets. Djokovic then faced Sinner again in the final, avenging his earlier loss with a 6-3, 6-3 victory to claim the title.
Since the tournament’s inception in 1970, the 37-year-old has been the only player to win the title seven times. While Roger Federer has secured six titles, Pete Sampras and Ivan Lendl have won five times.
For the 2024 edition of the ATP Finals, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, and Alexander Zverev have already qualified, thanks to a series of strong performances throughout the season. The World No.4 is also very likely to secure his spot, as he currently sits in sixth place on the live race list, 605 points ahead of Alex de Minaur, who is in ninth place.
Novak Djokovic will next play at the 2024 Paris Masters
Following his participation in the recently concluded exhibition Six Kings Slam in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Novak Djokovic will compete in the 2024 Paris Masters. He is on the entry list as the No. 4 seed, with the tournament scheduled to begin on October 26.
In the 2023 edition, he defeated Tomás Martín Etcheverry and Tallon Griekspoor in the second and third rounds, respectively. He then beat Holger Rune in the quarterfinals to set up a semifinal clash with Andrey Rublev, whom he also bested. Djokovic went on to outclass Grigor Dimitrov in the final to claim the title.
He has excelled at the Paris Masters throughout his career, winning the tournament seven times, including consecutive runs from 2013 to 2015.
The 37-year-old is still searching for his first ATP title of the season, having competed in nine tournaments. He reached the finals at both Wimbledon and the Shanghai Masters. However, the key moment of his season came in August, when he defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s singles gold medal match at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
