In a video posted on social media, former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp gave an explanation of his choice to accept a new position with Red Bull.

Liverpool supporters reacted furiously on social media following the confirmation of Klopp’s transfer to Red Bull, denouncing their former manager as a hypocrite and a sell-out. Recently, Klopp released a new video in which he provides a thorough explanation of his decision to accept the new position.
JURGEN KLOPP’S MENTIONKlopp posted the video on his Instagram profile where he said, “Some of you might have heard already, some of you didn’t. I am really excited to take on the role of Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull as of January 1, 2025. A few months ago I said that I don’t see myself on the sidelines anymore and that is still the case. However, I still enjoy working and playing football. I have the ideal platform for that thanks to Red Bull.”We all know there are a lot more successful managers out there, but throughout my career, I’ve battled for titles, trophies, promotion, and relegation. Now, I want to share the experience I’ve accumulated over the years. It’s difficult to deal with our successes and failures at different times. But it’s possible. And then learn again, because when you are in the job, you have to play every three days, you barely have time for that. And I have the chance and the time right now. I want to observe, sense, and determine what is beneficial in football. So developing football a little bit as well. Really looking forward to it but now I go back on holiday. I’ll see you in January.
WHAT NEXT FOR JURGEN KLOPP?
Beginning on January 1, 2025, the 57-year-old will assume a strategic role supporting the coaches of the Red Bull network’s clubs, including RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, and the New York Red Bulls. Additionally, he’ll concentrate on growing
