The singer joined Kelce’s friends in their game-day tradition of taking a picture of their shoes
Taylor Swift is Travis Kelce’s biggest cheerleader!
The Grammy winner was at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, Oct. 7, watching her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs win 26-13 over the New Orleans Saints.
This was the Chiefs’ fifth consecutive win, so it is no surprise that Swift celebrated the victory by joining Kelce’s friends in their game day tradition of taking group photos of their shoes.
While last week’s shoe photo was posted by Kelce’s friend Harry Clark, this week’s photos were shared by the NFL star’s childhood best friend and Homebred designer Aric Jones.
In his post, Jones highlighted two shoe photos from the game, with one showing Kelce’s barber, Patrick Regan, and the football tight end’s brother, Jason Kelce, joining in on the tradition.
Jason, the retired Philadelphia Eagles center who has since become a Monday Night Football analyst, could be seen wearing the black kicks he switched into during the game.
In another photo, Jones could be seen watching the game with Swift, who, along with Kelce, joined in for the second group picture.
The photo showed a peak of Swift’s knee-high black platform boots, which she wore to the game with an off-the-shoulder red and gray plaid skirt set and handbag by Vivienne Westwood.
Swift also celebrated the win with Chariah Gordon, fiancée of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., who shared a video of the two in a VIP suite.
The singer also joined Sheawna Weathersby and several of the Chiefs player’s wives and girlfriends.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in February, Jones, who regularly attends Kelce’s games, described their group of friends as “a bunch of Sports Illustrated Kids kids with a dream,” who endlessly supported one another.
“I remember the first game we all went to watch Travis play. His dad, Ed, taught me how to shotgun a beer that day. And Mama Kelc, she’s the same person doing the same thing she always was,” he said.
“Before all of our home games, Mama Kelce and the moms would make food for the team that we would all eat. So she would be our pregame meal,” continued Jones. “Those cookies that she brought up for the Super Bowl last year, we’ve been eating those cookies for years.”
The Chiefs have a bye week this weekend and are scheduled to take the field against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Oct. 20.
