The Kansas City Chiefs are back in action on Monday night as they return home to Arrowhead Stadium to host the New Orleans Saints. Patrick Mahomes will be back at it in Week 5, with the two-time defending champs looking to keep their unblemished start to the season alive.

This also means that his wife, Brittany Mahomes, is also returning to the sidelines to support her beau. True enough, the soon-to-be mother-of-three (the Mahomeses are expecting their third child in early 2025) shared a sweet moment with Patrick Mahomes just before the game kicked off.

Cameras were able to catch the pre-game interaction between the NFL power couple, which Brittany Mahomes herself shared on her Instagram page.

Brittany Mahomes reposted the video while also adding her own touch to it. She captioned the clip with a teary-eyed emoji accompanied by a single red heart.

Sometimes, actions speak louder than words, and it is clear that Brittany Mahomes is playing the role of a supportive wife here.

It’s so far so good for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, with the reigning Super Bowl champs up 16-7 at the mid-way point of the third quarter. As of writing, Mahomes has completed 20 out of his 30 pass attempts on the evening for 230 yards. He’s also rushed twice for 16 yards.

Patrick Mahomes and Co. will need to keep their foot in the gas in the second half against a strong challenge from the Saints. At this point, however, it appears that the Chiefs are primed to make it 5-0 to start the season.
