Lamar Jackson was everywhere on Sunday as he and the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 41-38.
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback had his best game of the season, going 26-of-42 for 348 passing yards and four touchdowns while adding 55 rushing yards.
He had all of the motivation to play well before the game even started based on an interaction he had with a fan.
While out to dinner on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s Ravens-Bengals game, an elderly female fan approached Jackson, wide receiver Zay Flowers, and other Ravens to talk some trash about the Week 5 contest.
Flowers decided to take out his phone and record the interaction.
He would post that video on his Instagram after the Ravens’ win.
“We’re gonna beat your a– tomorrow!” the Bengals fan says in Lamar Jackson’s ear before making kissing noises at the camera.
“What team?” Flowers asked.
“WHO DEY! THE BENGALS!” the woman shouts.
“It’s gonna be her fault,” Lamar Jackson said, while shaking his head.
“It’s her fault. It’s her fault. It’s her fault.”
It truly was her fault, as it was never a good idea to poke the bear.
Lamar Jackson was incredible on Sunday, but the Ravens ultimately won thanks to a pair of field goals by Justin Tucker after he hit a 56-yarder to force overtime and then a 24-yard game-winner.
