YouTuber Airrack fooled the staff of a five-star restaurant in Los Angeles using a LeBron James imposter. Airrack’s latest video on his channel was about impersonators and trying to fool people into thinking they are real celebrities such as the LA Lakers superstar.
In the video below, the 27-year-old vlogger used impersonators for celebs such as singers SZA and Ariana Grande, as well as James. They used the LeBron doppelganger to get inside Boa Steakhouse, a five-star restaurant in Hollywood that has a strict policy.
But using the impersonator, Airrack and his crew got into the restaurant and fooled the staff into thinking that it was the real four-time NBA MVP. He was wearing a full Team USA tracksuit, a Lakers cap and a perfectly made copy of the 2024 Olympic gold medal.

Who impersonated LeBron James?
A LeBron James look-alike recently went viral at a show in the Philippines though it’s hard to impersonate the NBA superstar. The beard might be easy to grow but his size is a big giveaway for anyone trying to pose as the four-time MVP.
In the video above, James was impersonated by a basketball trainer named Cheikh Jelani Moses. He played in the Street Baller Tournament and his profile on its official website showed his real height and weight. He stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs around 220 pounds.
While there were similarities in their features, it was just mostly the beard. He got away with it since he had a cap, sunglasses and Team USA gear on. And for those unaware, LeBron James stands at a menacing 6-foot-9 and his listed weight is 250 pounds although some players dispute this and point out that he’s really around 270.
JJ Redick confirms LeBron James’ preseason debut
LeBron James missed the LA Lakers’ first preseason game on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. James was given an extra rest since he didn’t have enough free time last summer because of his stint with Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
“King James” watched on the sidelines as the Anthony Edwards-less Timberwolves dominated the Lakers. Coach JJ Redick told reporters on Saturday that James, as well as Anthony Davis, will be making their preseason debut on Sunday versus the Phoenix Suns.
“Yeah, it’ll be great for us. You know, we’ve mixed some lineups during practices and not just had purple versus gray, where it’s strictly just the starters. So, you know, we’ve had different groups play, and we’ll do that again tomorrow, but it’ll be good for those five guys to get some run together,” Redick said.
The LA Lakers have four more preseason games following Sunday’s contest against Phoenix. They will also face the Milwaukee Bucks, the Golden State Warriors twice and the Suns again before opening the regular season versus the Timberwolves at Crypto.com Arena.
