LeBron James’ youngest son Bryce James is in his senior year with the Sierra Canyon. The shooting guard is in San Diego with his Trailblazers teammates for the Avance L’Attitude Basketball Classic (2024). The younger James is competing against some of the best high school players in the tournament.
The Trailblazers won against a team from the NBA Academy. Ballislife reported that “James did a little bit of everything in Sierra Canyon’s 22-point win.” The LA Lakers superstar promptly reacted to the post by sharing the same via an Instagram story and captioned it with:
“Keep stacking days Young [king emoji]. @_justbryce !! #JamesGang”
The box scores aren’t available yet but several fans already commented that James finished with 11 points with one assist and one block. Ballislife’s highlights showed the 6-foot-6 guard hitting a couple of 3-point shots, a dunk and one throwing a nifty dime.
LeBron James always makes it a point to hype up his kids so it wasn’t surprising to see him supporting his youngest son. He will likely keep at it, particularly when the 2024-25 high school basketball season opens in November.
Fans react to LeBron James’ sharing son Bryce James’ highlights
Like Bronny James before him, Bryce James is under heavy scrutiny although he is still a senior in high school. As the sons of LeBron James, their basketball lives are put through a microscope because of the names on their backs.
It wasn’t surprising that highlights of the Trailblazer guard’s exploits against NBA Academy were quickly greeted with reactions.
“Can you start saying his stats? What do you mean “a little bit of everything?”😂
One fan asserted:
“Def not better than bronny wen he was a senior”
Another fan had an NBA comparison for the high school basketball star:
“NBA cam reddish type build”
A third fan already predicted:
“Bryce gunna have a better nba career than bronny”
Based on the reactions, it is safe to say that many are already interested in seeing how LeBron James’ youngest son fares this season. Regardless of how the senior will play, he will be inevitably compared to his older brother who is now a Laker.
Bryce James reportedly has offers from Duquesne, Ohio State and USC. He could be looking at a longer list if he plays well this season. 247Sports ranks him as the 26th-best shooting guard in the nation and 18th in California. If he moves up the ladder, he will likely have more schools that will be going after his commitment.
