Lamar Jackson had a message for angry bettors on Monday after helping the Baltimore Ravens to a statement win over the Buffalo Bills on ‘Sunday Night Football.’
The Ravens beat Buffalo rather soundly, improving their record to 2-2 with a 35-20 win over a Bills side that had been rolling these last few weeks.
Jackson completed 13 of his 18 attempts for 156 passing yards and two touchdowns, adding 54 yards and a touchdown on the ground. While those are pretty decent stats, they weren’t enough for some of the folks who bet on his personal props.
The QB has since taken to social media to let them know that he does not care.
“This is a “TEAM” sport I’m not out here satisfied when I threw for 300yds but took a L. If I throw for 50 yds and we WIN, that’s wtf matters. Yall stop commenting on our socials about the yds yall fan duel or parlays ain’t hit,” he tweeted.
Lamar Jackson Is Still Playing At A High Level
Lamar Jackson is hardly the first player to tell fans he couldn’t care less about their fantasy teams or betting props.
The Ravens star is only concerned with winning, and following a season in which he was named MVP for the second time in his career, he’s kept standards high.
The QB has completed 66.7 percent of his throws while passing for a total of 858 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. He’s also rushed for 308 yards and two TDs.
