The Baltimore Ravens started with a bang on Sunday night football against the Buffalo Bills with an 87-yard touchdown run by Derrick Henry to go up 7-0 in the first quarter. Henry rushed for 199 yards on 24 carries and one touchdown in a 35-10 win for the Ravens against the Bills.
Henry was owning the Bills all game long and they had no answer for him. He is one of the best running backs in the NFL in this generation.

Watching Derrick Henry run for your favorite team is a different type of experience I can’t even put into words.

I like that we all saw Derrick Henry high school highlight tape and said he was a unicorn, then saw him as a freshman in college and said he was a unicorn, and now at 30 years old he’s still a unicorn

Derrick Henry is what happens when perfect genetics meet perfect worth ethic.
He has over 2000 carries. He should be beaten down and slow.
But he’s out sprinting defensive backs 7 years younger than him.
Hall of Famer.

Henry in his NFL career up to this point has rushed for 9,982 yards. He could very well go over 10,000 career rushing yards this season. Henry is no doubt a first-ballot Hall of Famer.
History Made
During the game on Sunday, his long touchdown run was the longest touchdown run in Ravens history. Back in 2018, he had a 99-yard touchdown run for the Tennessee Titans against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Henry did not perform well during the first two weeks of the 2024 NFL season, but he has shown signs of life during the last two weeks of the NFL season.
The duo of Lamar Jackson and Henry appears to be coming together for the Ravens. We will see if Henry continues his monster performances moving forward.
