LA Lakers star D’Angelo Russell’s girlfriend Laura Ivaniukas shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the second birthday bash of her son Riley Russell. Laura posted four pictures on her Instagram story showing off the custom car-themed venue for the birthday celebration.
In the first picture, Riley is seen standing in front of a yellow door which was part of the car-themed set. The kid smiled while striking a pose for the camera as the door said “Party Crew only.” The walls of the venue also carried custom messages like “Riley is two” and “Safety first.” There was a barricade and several hard hats on the left side of Riley.
Ivaniukas accompanied a heart-eye emoji with the first picture to express her feelings. In the second picture, D’Angelo Russell’s baby mama showed the entire car/truck themed arrangements for her son’s birthday to her 55.1K followers. There were several yellow toy trucks and cars with caution bands at the venue. The balloons were also selected to match the overall theme of the venue.
In the third picture, Ivaniukas showed off the dinner table which was also made to match the overall theme of the event. The plates and the napkins on the table featured small yellow toy trucks on them. In the last picture, Riley was seen wearing a safety jacket and a hard hat while riding on a mini excavator.

While Riley’s mother threw a custom themed party for her adorable son, his NBA star father spent some quality time with him. D’Angelo Russell posted a video of him walking with his son in the field. He accompanied a caption with his post expressing his fatherly love.
“Anything for the boy.”
In the video, both D’Lo and his two-year old son were seen wearing orange colored safety jackets and hard hats. The video starts with Riley walking in a field all dressed up in safety equipment. The kid walks a bit and then looks into the camera after which the Lakers star flips it to reveal his look. In addition to the safety gear, D’Lo also donned safety goggles to fit in the theme.
D’Angelo Russell had a good individual run with the Lakers last season, as he averaged 18.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. Earlier this offseason, the Lakers star opted in his contract. He and the Lakers will be back in action in late October to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in the season opener.
