LeBron James is preparing for the 2024-25 NBA season and during his most recent workout, he brought a unique partner. Zhuri Nova James, his third child and first daughter, accompanied ‘King James’ during his morning cardio session.
In a series of Instagram posts, the LA Lakers superstar pushed Zhuri to reach 100 ft. while exercising.
“Take it to 100. You have 50 already, go to 100. Good job! Good job, 30 more feet!
“90, no, keep going. 10 more feet, 10 more feet!”
The soon-to-be 10-year-old said she was tired after her session, making LBJ laugh before he congratulated her. Despite her age, Zhuri is following her father and brother’s footsteps.
Savannah and LeBron tout their daughter’s volleyball skills on social media.
“She is working out there!!!” wrote Savannah on her Instagram story in May.
This isn’t the first appearance she’s made on social media this week, either. Her grandmother Gloria shared a series of pictures to celebrate Granddaughter Day and also posted this heartfelt message:

Magic Johnson has clear message about LeBron James’ kid
As LeBron James prepares for the 2024-25 NBA season, conversations about his son Bronny are still a hot item. The latest legend to chime in on this situation was Magic Johnson, a former Lakers executive and the one who convinced James to go to Los Angeles.
Speaking on Bronny, the five-time NBA champion says the young guard should spend the season in the G League.
“It can go one or two ways. If I am Bronny, I would tell my dad, ‘Just let me play in the G-League all season, so that I can develop.’ He needs playing time. He doesn’t need to be sitting on the Lakers bench and not playing.
“It’s not a knock against him. He’s just not ready. He needs to develop. And then he will be ready because he has some great talent and skills but he needs to develop those skills at a much better clip if he wants to play 15-20 minutes in the NBA.”
The Bronny James conversation has been around since he was drafted in June. However, fans will have to wait to see what JJ Redick and the Lakers’ front office will do with the 19-year-old.
