The Miami Dolphins’ 2024 NFL season is on thin ice after losing quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to another concussion, leaving the offense stuck in neutral and desperately searching for answers.

The offense will be in new hands for Monday night’s matchup with the Tennessee Titans, as Tyler Huntley will be starting at quarterback instead of Skylar Thompson, who got crunched in the team’s Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks and left the game early with a rib injury after leading the team to just three points.

Huntley won’t be playing with a full deck, as Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson shared that left tackle Terron Armstead will be out for the Titans game along with cornerback Kendall Fuller.

Armstead will once again be missing time and has now missed at least one game in each of his 12 seasons in the league.

He missed seven games last season and four in his debut season with the Dolphins in 2022 and will be replaced by Kendall Lamm against the Titans to protect Huntley’s blind side.

Armstead is still in concussion protocol and it’s unclear if he’ll be ready for next week’s game against the New England Patriots.

Fuller also has a concussion that he suffered in the loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week, but he has reportedly been advancing through concussion protocol.

With a bye week coming in Week 6, it’s possible both Armstead and Fuller will miss next week’s game as well so they can have plenty of time to recover, but keep an eye out on the injury report for updates ahead of the Patriots game.
