Inspired by Simone Biles, Patrick Mahomes’ Wife Brittany Shares Daughter’s Gymnastics Progress With an Inverted Hang

We won’t be wrong if we say that the Mahomes family and sports are a match made in heaven. And we aren’t saying this just out of the blue! While Sr. Mahomes played baseball, Patrick Mahomes followed in his footsteps and became an OG in football. And guess what? Young Mahomes has also stepped into the sports world this year!

But Sterling isn’t inspired by her superstar mom, dad, or grandpa. Instead, she has walked the extra mile for it! Inspired by Simone Biles, the kiddo started gymnastics in August. On August 21st, Brittany Mahomes shared her daughter’s love for gymnastics for the first time on the Internet.

Well, fast forward to a month later. It seems like the little munchkin is working way too hard to learn her favorite sport. On September 28th, Mrs. Mahomes took to Instagram to share a fun story where little Sterling was playfully hanging upside down. And we bet she has better flexibility than most of us!

Back to a month ago, Brittany dressed up her little tyke in a cute shimmery red outfit. The former soccer player couldn’t resist her excitement and wrote, “First day of Gymnastics. In her U.S.A leotard.” And guess what? The young athlete was dressed in a vibrant red Adidas Team USA leotard, similar to what Simone Biles wore during the vault final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. In another story, the proud momma revealed a little secret! As a cute little fitness freak, Sterling loves carrying her backpack for her practice! Well, doesn’t it look like Sterling is learning all the sports tricks at her home from her father?

Patrick Mahomes deserves a little pat on the back for Sterling’s Gymnastics

Imagine growing up in a family of athletes. The environment hits differ, right? Sports just run into your blood. Well, Sterling is absolutely head over heels for gymnastics and it shows. And thanks to Simone Biles for inspiring the three-year-old with her unmatchable talent and becoming her role model.

While Sterling has a love for gymnastics, she loves seeing her dad play from the sidelines. Brittany shared the happiness Sterling finds in watching her father’s game and said, “My oldest daughter, she can finally kind of realize what’s going on and where she’s at, and she loves to watch her dad play football.” Well, it seems like the little kiddo learned sports at her home from the legendary QB, and that’s not all!

As we all know, Brittany loves sharing glimpses of her life on social media. Being one of the most adorable Instagram mommas, she is often seen going to parks, vacations, and even gridirons with her kids. And as Mrs. Mahomes says, Sterling and Bronze can keep watching Patrick Mahomes play all day long. She added, “I think it’s a very special moment wherever I get to bring them to the game and they get to watch their dad play football.”

While Sterling is just a kid, it seems like she isn’t just watching football and playing around; she is serious about gymnastics, adorably practicing her moves. And Biles is surely the kid’s inspiration, but let’s not forget to give some credit to Dad Mahomes for gifting the tiny sprout with athletic genes! And it’s not only his genes but support for his children.

The Super Bowl winner says, “Obviously, I want them to play sports.” He added that his connection with sports taught him a lot of values and lessons. On top of that, he has equipped his house with several sporting equipment. He would love to see his children play as they grow. Now, that’s interesting!

With Sterling learning gymnastics, it looks like they are following their parents’ footsteps and Patrick and Brittany are super proud of it. With the little girl entering the athletic world, we just can’t stop rooting for her!
