Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce Share Hilarious Interaction About Their Appearances

Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce shared a hilarious interaction about their physical appearances on Friday.

Mahomes and Kelce have been teammates for eight seasons in the NFL. They’ve won three Super Bowls (2020, 2023, and 2024), becoming one of the best quarterback and tight end duos in the league’s history.

Before they became teammates at the professional level, Mahomes played his college football for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, while Kelce played for the Cincinnati Bearcats.

Both of their schools are set to play each other on Saturday night.

However, on Friday, one day before the showdown between Mahomes and Kelce’s alma maters, the Big 12 Conference shared their college headshots on X.

“Time flies🥹,”the X post read. “These two Kansas City Chiefs superstars will watch their alma maters go at it for the first time as conference opponents tomorrow night.”

They both looked much younger with completely different hairstyles than they have nowadays. Mahomes saw the post and commented on it.

“I’ll bring the hair back if you do too! @tkelce,” Mahomes wrote.

It doesn’t seem like Kelce has any intentions of going back to his long hair and goatee anytime soon.

“😂😂😂😂😂 I left that look back in Cincinnati for good reason,” Kelce replied.

Cincinnati transitioned from the AAC to the Big 12 Conference in 2023. Before then, the two schools only met once back in 1968. That one ended in a tie, 10-10.

Saturday night’s Red Raiders versus Bearcats game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
