Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season is here, and with it comes another weekly injury report. Thankfully for the Baltimore Ravens, their updated injury report looks a little bit more clear than their preliminary report that came out yesterday.

Things are still very up in the air, but you can’t help but feel a little bit of relief with the updated report. Some of their major question marks have become more clear. The Ravens will need all the help they can get as they prepare to host the 3-0 Buffalo Bills this Sunday night, in what’s sure to be a thrilling matchup.

This game features two of the league’s top quarterbacks: Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen. The game is surely going to be one for the record books.

Here’s Baltimore’s updated injury report ahead of their Week 4 clash with the Bills.

Updated Ravens injury report for Week 4

While yesterday’s injury report was dominated by offensive linemen, today’s update offers some much-needed clarity on their statuses. The biggest concern was Ravens center Tyler Linderbaum, who sat out with a knee injury. Fortunately, he participated in practice today, easing some of the worries.

Joining Linderbaum in the good news front is right tackle Patrick Mekari, who also returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday with a neck injury. It will be important to monitor their progress as the week continues as they’re imperative to keeping Lamar Jackson upright.

Starting left guard Andrew Vorhees has been sidelined in practice this week due to an ankle injury, according to reports. As noted by The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec, it’s unclear how the Ravens would adjust if Vorhees can’t play. His absence could force some reshuffling on the offensive line, possibly leaving someone playing out of position.

Vorhees, a first-time starter and essentially a redshirt rookie after missing last season with a torn ACL, has been a solid contributor on the Ravens’ line. While his PFF grade is average to below average, he’s yet to allow a sack this season.

In other good news, linebacker Roquan Smith looks to be on track to play Sunday. He’s a much-needed force in the middle of the defense. Smith will play counter to Allen for the Ravens, a role he excels at. They’ll need him healthy and playing to win Sunday night.

Ravens offensive line shined in Week 3 win

The offensive line faced heavy scrutiny during the Ravens’ 0-2 start, especially with offensive lineman Daniel Faalele’s struggles after switching to right tackle. The team was also questioned for letting three veteran linemen leave in the offseason.

In Week 3, however, the unit stepped up in a big way. Baltimore rushed for 274 yards and didn’t allow a single sack against the Dallas Cowboys. Faalele had his best game of the season, earning praise from Lamar Jackson.

Coaches, players, analysts, and fans all applauded the line for their strong performance, coming together despite early-season criticism. Baltimore will be hoping for a healthy offensive line as they prepare to face the undefeated Buffalo Bills in Week 4.
