Lamar Jackson Reveals His Thoughts On His Nickname From Tom Brady

NFL legend turned Fox analyst, Tom Brady, has bestowed a new nickname upon Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson: “The Eraser.”

This moniker came after Jackson’s stellar performance in the Ravens’ nail-biting 28-25 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

Brady, now making waves in his new role as lead NFL analyst for Fox, was thoroughly impressed by Jackson’s ability to turn the tide of the game.

“He’s like superhuman,” Brady remarked. “I call him ‘The Eraser.’ He just erases those moments when bad football shows up.”

When asked about this high praise from the seven-time Super Bowl champion, Jackson couldn’t hide his excitement.

In a conversation with Ravens reporter Kyle Phoenix, he said, “That’s the GOAT, man. One of the greatest quarterbacks ever to play the game with seven Super Bowls. For him to give me a nickname, ‘The Eraser,’ and how he judges my game, it’s dope for me to hear.”

 

Brady’s analysis proved spot-on as Jackson seemed to wipe away his team’s mistakes, particularly when the Cowboys mounted a second-half comeback.

Utilizing his exceptional rushing skills, Jackson secured a crucial first down late in the fourth quarter, effectively sealing the win for the Ravens.

By game’s end, Jackson’s stat line was impressive: 182 passing yards with one touchdown on 12-of-15 attempts, complemented by 87 rushing yards on 14 carries and another touchdown.

While Jackson’s ability to erase mistakes is evident, he’s keen on seeing the Ravens capitalize on their first-half leads and prevent teams from bouncing back.

The upcoming Sunday Night Football matchup against Josh Allen and the red-hot Buffalo Bills will be another test of Jackson’s erasure skills in prime time.
