Whoopi Goldberg Rips NFL Fans Blaming Taylor Swift For Travis Kelce’s Rough Season..

The Kansas City Chiefs have jumped out to a 3-0 record this season despite receiving lackluster production from Travis Kelce. In three games, he has just eight catches for 69 yards.

Earlier this week, former ESPN analyst Todd McShay ripped Kelce for being out of shape. He said, “Every show I watch, every pregame show, halftime show, postgame show, weekday show, every broadcast I watch for the last few weeks, it’s like are we not allowed to say that he’s out of shape, that he’s been partying all offseason? He’s been jet-setting around with the most famous person probably in the entire world, that he’s drinking, going to the U.S. Open.”

On Tuesday’s edition of “The View,” panelist Whoopi Goldberg talked about Kelce’s slow start to the season. She made it abundantly clear that she won’t tolerate people blaming Taylor Swift for the All-Pro tight end’s lack of production.

“They apparently forgot that they won a Super Bowl last year with [Kelce], and [he and Swift] were just as tight then as they are now,” Goldberg argued. “Grow up, y’all. Stop putting this on her. Your team is fine, your team is doing well. Shut up.”

Kelce has already taken full accountability for his struggles this season.

“I put that on me,” Kelce said. “If you want to catch the football, it has to be the right play, it has to be the right coverage, and it has to be everybody doing their job up front and on the back end in terms of running their routes.”

Luckily for Kelce, there are 14 games left this regular season for him to make a huge impact.

The Chiefs will face the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday in an AFC West showdown. It wouldn’t surprise us if Kelce turns back the clock this weekend.
