Dak Prescott and his Dallas Cowboys came up short in their fourth quarter comeback attempt against the Baltimore Ravens.

After last week’s beatdown at the hands of the New Orleans Saints, Dak Prescott and his Dallas Cowboys were looking to earn back their lost respect this Sunday. They knew it was not going to be an easy task against the Baltimore Ravens who themselves were hungry for a win. In the end, it wasn’t easy as their attempts at a comeback fell short, leaving Cowboys fans and players frustrated.
The highest-paid player in NFL history was walking down the tunnel with his teammates. When some fans lined up inside the tunnel and started saying something, he mouthed this as a response, “Jump off if you want. Please!”
Even though the fans’ words were inaudible, it is evident that Dak Prescott was frustrated beyond measure. To the extent that he was not willing to listen to anything the fans wanted to say. After playing the way he did in the 4th quarter, maybe his frustrations were justified.

The Dallas Cowboys entered the fourth quarter down 6-28 after Derrick Henry ran their defense into the ground. Dak Prescott tried to turn things around by leading his offense to score three straight touchdowns. Now the onus again fell on the defense to try and win the ball back down three.
But it all went to vain as the Baltimore Ravens again used the new dangerous combination of Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson to run the clock down. Had the Cowboys won the ball back with 40-50 seconds left, Prescott could have done something with it.
Dak Prescott not off to a good start after signing record breaking contract
Dak Prescott was the most talked about name throughout the offseason and up until a few hours before their first game this season. All because owner Jerry Jones was not signing on the dotted line of his contract extension. Now that the part has been sorted, fans and the media naturally want Prescott to play like a $60 million quarterback.
In the first couple of games, Dak Prescott looked nothing like someone who mans the most important position for the Cowboys and gets handsomely paid for it. On Sunday night, he did everything in his power to prove that he was worth the money. If only he could have the fitting end to the night, the story could have been completely different.
