Sheawna Weathersby shared her blunt opinion of Taylor Swift while posting a series of snapshots featuring the pop superstar on social media on Thursday, Sept. 19.
The girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones spent time with the “Cruel Summer” songstress during the team’s most recent game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Sept. 15. While Weathersby was there to cheer for Jones, Swift was there in support of her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The video that Weathersby shared on TikTok began with a clip showing off her own look for Sunday’s game, which included a white T-shirt with a handwritten message drawn on in red, jean shorts and red sneakers. Clips showing members of the team on the field and the Chiefs’ logo on nearly-empty plastic cups followed before Swift came into view.
The video’s first glimpse of the 14-time Grammy Award winner showed her posing for a selfie with Weathersby and later posing for photo booth-styled snapshots. Swift and Weathersby later took another photo together, with Swift decked out in a large Chiefs shirt and thigh-high black boots.
“Chiefs vs Bengals Ft. Taylor Swift ❤️💛,” Weathersby wrote to caption the video. She later commented on a fellow TikToker’s note about the way Swift looked, with Weathersby writing, “She’s literally perfect 😩😍.”
The “Anti-Hero” singer’s Sunday appearance at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., marked the second game in a row she has attended, with the first on Sept. 5 also serving as the official start of the 2024 NFL season. Swift began attending Chiefs games in support of Kelce last September, shortly after the two started dating.
While it’s unknown exactly how many games the “Fortnight” singer plans to attend this year, fans have speculated that she could cheer for her boyfriend in person a few more times before her Eras Tour resumes in mid-October. She is scheduled to perform nine dates in the U.S. before taking her tour to Canada, where she is scheduled to bring the hit international tour to an end in early December.
