Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys faced a reality check after the New Orleans Saints humbled them 44-19 on home turf. Two interceptions in either half sealed the Cowboys’ fate immediately.
The Cowboys were -6.5 favorites going into their second game of the season after their comfortable win over the Cleveland Browns in week 1. The Saints brought them down back to earth after quarterback Derek Carr contributed two touchdowns in the first quarter.
Carr found Alvin Kamara for a 5-yard rushing touchdown and then lobbed a massive 70-yard pass to Rasheed Shaheed. Kamara and Carr linked up again in the second quarter—first for a 57-yard pass and then a 12-yard rushing touchdown from the Pro Bowler.
Doing all this to watch Derek Carr and Alvin Kamara put up 5 TDs in one half on you is crazy

The Cowboys, in the meantime, could only conjure up only 1 touchdown to CeeDee Lamb for 65 yards besides Prescott’s couple of turnovers. It was a day when both the offense and the defense fell flat, even though the majority viewed the game as a relative cakewalk.
Dak Prescott ended the game with 27/39 for 293 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 INTs. In the post-game presser, the highest-earning football player in history highlighted the hype that was created in the media after the win in the previous week, which might have misled fans into believing the Cowboys would dominate the Saints.
You may have put this team [the Dallas Cowboys] on a high than it should have been, and now we just simply got to reset; we’ve got to respond. We are not going undefeated. It hadn't been done in 50 years.Dak Prescott said

Dak Prescott vows to come back stronger in the next game
While the dream of going unbeaten in a season will have to wait for another year, the Cowboys should divert their focus to next week because they will face last season’s AFC title finalists, the Baltimore Ravens.
Every game is different, and the 3x Pro Bowler knows that better than anyone else. That being said, Prescott needs to respond, and a win over the Ravens would help regain their confidence.
It’s about trusting the process and responding. I know we have the guys to do that. Honestly excited to get back to work and turn this page.Dak Prescott said as per the Athletic’s Jon Machota
Prescott has only played once against the Ravens in his NFL career. It was back in his rookie season when he recorded 300 yards and 3 touchdowns (H/T: StatMuse). The Cowboys definitely require a similar performance from him once more.
