The former Laker has an opportunity to impress in training camp.
Per Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype, Blake Hinson — a former Los Angeles Laker who was under a two-way contract — has agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Golden State Warriors, with training camp right around the corner.
An Exhibit 10 contract allows Hinson to compete for a two-way spot in training camp. Should he be waived before the regular season starts, the Warriors will retain his G League rights, which will allow him to play for the Santa Cruz Warriors.
While not necessarily a needle mover in the grand scheme of things, Hinson is worth a look as a wing shooter with ample size (6’6” height, 6’10” wingspan). He shot 42.1% on nearly eight three-point attempts per game during his last season in college with Pittsburgh and put up a 37.8% mark on 6.1 attempts in his four college seasons.
