Over the past two weeks, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, and Taylor Swift, who’s dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, have sat in separate suites at Arrowhead Stadium during games. However, Swift and Brittany remain on good terms.
Not only did the two famous couples hangout at the 2024 US Open last weekend, but Swift headed to the Mahomes’ house after Chiefs defeated the Bengals on September 15 to celebrate the quarterback’s 29th birthday.
However, hours before the Chiefs defeated the Bengals on Sunday, former President Donald Trump sent a message on Truth Social that read, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.” A source told the Daily Mail on September 16 that Brittany is now “questioning her support” for Trump, 78, after he “lashed out” at the singer.
Brittney was “shook” after seeing Trump’s post, according to the source, who noted that the 29-year-old plans to be “more aware of supporting him so publicly.” Numerous readers were disappointed by the report.
One person responded, “Wait, THAT’S the one thing that crossed the line to her?” Another person replied, “It’s only ever personal with these types, they can never empathize with someone they have no connection to.”
One account wrote, “So let me get this straight? Brittany Mahomes was ok with Trump trashing everybody else under the sun until he trashed her BFF Taylor Swift? It appears that Brittany lacks the empathy gene.”
Another account wrote, “So Trump saying he hates Taylor Swift is where she draws the line ….not the rape or the felonies or the abortion stance or the LGBTQ stance or the million other things….GTFOH Brittany Mahomes!”
Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris on September 10.
