There are not many people as popular in the state of Wisconsin as former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre. The Pro Football Hall of Famer won three NFL MVP Award in his 15 seasons under center and helped the Packers win Super Bowl XXXI.Of course, Favre has seen his popularity nationally take a hit in the last few years. This is due to his alleged involvement in the Mississippi Welfare Scandal in which he is accused of stealing millions of dollars from the poorest population in the United States to fund the building of a new volleyball stadium at his daughter’s college.
It is important to note, however, that Favre has not been indicted nor has he been convicted of any crimes related to the scandal. Despite the allegations, he is still beloved in the state of Wisconsin, something that former President Donald Trump hopes will help him win the state in November.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Brett Favre Is Campaigning for Donald Trump in Wisconsin

Ever since 2016, the former Packers star has also been a vocal supporter (and sometimes golf partner) of former President Trump.
On Friday, it was announced that Favre will be campaigning for Trump (with the former President himself) in the state of Wisconsin, which figures to play a crucial role in the outcome of the election as an important swing state.
According to a report by Fox 6, “Brett Favre will be a guest speaker at Donald Trump’s Green Bay rally next week, the Republican nominee’s campaign announced on Friday.
“The rally will take place at Resch Center on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Doors open at 2 p.m. with the event scheduled to start at 6 p.m., according to Trump’s campaign website.”
Favre joins fellow NFL alumni Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, and Lawrence Taylor as notable former players to who have endorsed Trump for this election.
Green Bay Packers Legend Brett Favre Previously Criticized Celebrities for Endorsing Presidential Candidates

As the election as drawn closer and closer, more and more celebrities have endorsed one candidate or another, causing a flurry of reactions from supporters and detractors alike.
One such celebrity was 14-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift, who is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. After the Presidential debate between Trump and current Vice President Kamala Harris, Swift announced his support of the latter on social media.
Her endorsement of Harris sparked many conversations and reactions, some in favor, others not. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, for his part, said that he would not be announcing who he will be voting for (though his wife has publicly supported Trump for weeks).
Mahomes’ comments inspired Favre to post the following on social media:
Favre has every right to campaign for whoever he wants. However, just last month he was on social media saying that celebrities should not be using their influence to sway people into voting one way or another.
And now that is exactly what he is doing.
