The Miami Dolphins were one of the most hyped teams entering the 2024 season, as they were absolutely electric in the previous year. However, injuries have largely prevented this team from reaching its full potential as they hold a 2-4 record entering Week 8.
One injury concern revolves around quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. He’s already suffered several concussions throughout his NFL career, with the latest coming in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills.
The 26-year-old quarterback finally returned to practice and is expected to play in Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals. However, concussion concerns remain as the sports world clamored for Tagovailoa to retire after his latest concussion.
Superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill also shares some of that concern. However, it sounds like the star wideout has hatched a plan to help Tagovailoa slide more often to avoid concussions, according to Joe Schad of The Palm Beach post. Hill seemingly got the idea during the Indianapolis Colts game in Week 7
