This offseason, the Dallas Cowboys signed Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb to contract extensions worth a combined $376 million. And yet, a weekly theme of the 2024 Cowboys appears to be that the two are simply not on the same page.
Often times, miscommunications have led to key incompletions and sometimes even interceptions. Simply put, their chemistry has been unacceptable one year after they dominated week in and week out throughout the 2023 NFL season en route to All-Pro honors.
The excuses based on Lamb missing training camp during contract negotiations have run out as other players around the league who also held out have managed to get going. Now, the duo had the chance to get in some extra work thanks to the bye week. The time to connect is now. Lamb knows it.
