I’ve also come to the acceptance that we are just not good enough, and unfortunately, that is okay with me.

However, one thing that isn’t okay with me is Jerry Jones himself.

As if having the Lions start running trick plays with their linemen wasn’t bad enough, Jones then has to go and open his big mouth and addresses the world.

He was asked to comment after the 47-9 loss and said it was “very concerning” and “very humbling” and was somehow shocked at what he had witnessed.

I’m not entirely sure how he is shocked when this team can’t block, can’t run, and can’t tackle.

The performance of the team is one issue, which I refuse to get worked up over.

What really got me going was how Jones wanted to talk to the fans and those who covered and studied them the closest.

The Cowboys flagship radio station,105.3 The Fan in Dallas does an awesome job covering the Cowboys and also everything else Dallas sports.

During his normal Tuesday spot on the radio, Jones’ anger and frustration towards the questions being asked became apparent.

The topic of lacking depth and talent was brought up and it was asked if there could be any connection drawn to the inactive offseason Jerry had with signings.

Instead of addressing the question, Jones decided to threaten the jobs of both Shan and RJ (105.3 show hosts), saying: “I’ll get somebody else to ask these questions. I’m not kidding”.

Just to be clear 105.3 The Fan pays to be the Cowboy’s flagship station, they’re not owned by Jones.

For him to think he has the power to threaten someone’s job because he has money, and he doesn’t want to be asked the hard questions, it has made it easy for me to not listen anymore.

Later on, Dianna Russini of The Athletic asked Jones about his reaction to the radio questions, where he added “The wrong ones were doing the questioning. Now, if those had been real fans sitting there or if there had been people that knew what they were talking about, football people, I might have had a different answer.”

Shan and RJ are two of many that are diehard Cowboys fans, who are lucky enough to cover their team every day.

For the Cowboys owner to brush them off as nobodies, questioning their legitimacy to ask questions is another example that this old man has no clue what is going on.

For now, I’m going to enjoy the beautiful sport that is the NFL and pray that Dak stays healthy every time he’s out of the field.
