Tom Brady’s commentator curse struck the Dallas Cowboys, one of just six teams with a winless record at home this season.

The Detroit Lions reigned supremo after beating the Dallas Cowboys in their third successive home game loss 47-9 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The SNF recorded the second time in the season giving up 40 points in the 2024-25 NFL season.
The AT&T Stadium was a fortress, recording 16 straight home wins in two seasons not so long. Today, the stadium had to spot a blurred score line amid the worst home defeat since 1988. The Cowboys have given media reason after reason to tease and criticize them. Skip Bayless, a forever Dallas fan, blamed birthday boy Jerry Jones for his reluctance to fire Mike McCarthy as the head coach. Some reputed broadcasters as well as social media users have also targeted quarterback Dak Prescott and Trevon Diggs for their on-field inabilities.
Commentator and ex-NFL legend Tom Brady also had his own choice of words to slam Dallas. In his commentary, he slammed them for being not good enough and identified their key flaw through the season.
The Cowboys are facing the brunt of letting Derrick Henry go in the offseason. Henry, after two consecutive losses, have emerged quite powerfully with four straight wins in Baltimore. The running game was the Cowboys’ most glaring weakness entering the 2024 season.
“Dallas is just struggling in the same ways they have in so many of these games. They can’t run it, they are struggling to be physical, Dak’s frustrated, too many turnovers, just not good enough.”

The current tandem of Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott has been lackluster, with the team averaging just 77.1 rushing yards per game, the worst in the league. Only once has a Cowboys running back surpassed 50 rushing yards in a game. The sole example being Dowdle showcasing an 87-yard performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As a result, as Brady noted the Dallas offense has become highly one-dimensional. They have left the door open for opposition teams to make them one-dimensional. The rushing attack is not at all sufficient and prepared enough to pick up the slack if Prescott fails in passing.
Tom Brady advises Dallas Cowboys players to be involved in plays
A massive win, a week to relax, and another dominant victory—Detroit Lions are once again the “it” team of the league. Tom Brady, now in the commentator’s seat, expressed his admiration for the Lions during an interview with FOX Sports’ Howie Long, even offering advice to the Dallas Cowboys on how to emulate their success.
In his long speech, Brady, pointed out run game as the key issue in Dallas. Brady acknowledged that the team needs to work around their struggling offense. Furthermore, he pointed out that they need to involve more people other than CeeDee Lamb to get some action.
Earlier, Brady drew out a picture of the Lions’ success. He admitted that the role played by Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery in crucial to their current momentum as well.
The Lions, by providing avenues like Gibbs and Montgomery and others, allowed Jared Goff to throw and reach the end zone. The Cowboys could take a leaf out of the Lions playbook as they head into a bye week, allowing time to recuperate and stage a comeback.
