Patrick Mahomes and LeBron James led the reactions to Aaron Rodgers’ unbelievable Hail Mary pass to close the first half between the Jets and Bills on Monday.

Down 20-10 with seconds to spare, Rodgers served up another long-distance pass to close the gap in the intermission. The Bills granted the veteran quarterback an abundance of space which allowed him to launch a 52-yarder to Allen Lazard.

The wide receiver elevated over a sea of blue jerseys to make the catch, which sent social media into a frenzy.

‘Why is Aaron so good at that,’ Mahomes wrote with three laughing-crying emojis.

‘Right!! It’s ridiculous!’ James said in response.

‘Aaron Rodgers is back at it on MNF, slinging Hail Marys like a priest on Sunday,’ another user wrote. ‘No one does it quite like him!’

‘His ability to make those clutch throws is legendary,’ a fourth user commented.

‘This could be luck but he did it 4 times so I don’t know,’ a fifth added.

The highlight came after ESPN showed a montage of Rodgers’ three Hail Mary passes for Pittsburgh.

One of the officials initially called the catch incomplete after the ball was knocked off Lazard’s hands. However, two officials called a touchdown after confirming that Lazard landed with the ball in his hands.

The Jets held their visitors down defensively through three periods as the game was tied at 20 ahead of the fourth.

After suffering an Achilles tear against Buffalo in his first game for the Jets last year, Rodgers missed the rest of the season.

However, he has played in all five of their games this season. Rodgers completed 111 of 182 attempts for 1,093 yards and seven touchdowns before Monday as the Jets went 2-3 to start their campaign.
