It was a special day for Andrew Wiggins as he celebrated his daughter Amyah’s sixth birthday alongside girlfriend Mychal Johnson on Saturday. Johnson shared several snaps of the occasion that was filled with balloons, birthday giveaways and an adorable cake to boot. Amyah also posed for a picture with her friends who attended.
It was a wholesome birthday celebration for the Warriors forward’s eldest daughter, as the decorators went all out while she had great company to celebrate her day with. Wiggins’ girlfriend uploaded the birthday images on her latest Instagram stories.
Last season, Wiggins put up 13.2 points (45.3% shooting, including 35.8% from 3-point range) and 4.5 rebounds in the 71 games he played for the Golden State Warriors.

During his 2022 E! interview with Mike Vulpo, the Warriors forward shared how much he looks forward to seeing his two daughters after a long day.
“You can go to work or somewhere and not have the best day and come home, and my daughters are just there waiting for me,” Wiggins said. “They’re always happy, always in a good mood. I always feel so much love, so they keep me going.”
Being a father with the profession of an NBA athlete is no walk in the park, as they are scheduled to play in 82 games with 41 matchups on the road. Balancing work and personal life remains one of the main challenges for any professional athlete.
Heading home to his kids is something that Wiggins considers a breather from the usual routine of playing 48 minutes of highly competitive basketball.

On June 6, Wiggins’ girlfriend Mychal Johnson shared several celebratory images of daughter Amyah’s preschool graduation. The post garnered 3k likes on Instagram.
“My big girl had graduated yesterday,” Johnson posted, “… I’m not crying. She’s getting so big. Can’t believe she’ll be in kindergarten next year.”
Similar to her birthday, Amyah continues to grow each day and is well on her way to starting her kindergarten journey next year. Johnson also expressed how emotional her daughter’s latest milestone is for her as a mother and seeing her eldest child grow up fast right before her eyes.
