The Miami Dolphins are having another busy scouting weekend as the college football season continues.

For starters, the Dolphins were reportedly represented at Friday’s game between Northwestern University and the University of Maryland.

The Dolphins were also reportedly represented at an early-session game on Saturday between Clemson University and Wake Forest University.

Another report came out linking the Dolphins to a matchup between Mississippi State University and the University of Georgia.

It’s possible that the Dolphins are also scouting other games amid Week 7 of the college football season.

Miami has been busy scouting many college games this season, and the hope is certainly that the efforts will lead to some valuable additions in the 2025 NFL Draft (and perhaps future drafts as well).

One major topic of discussion surrounding the Dolphins lately has been their quarterback situation. While signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa remains the franchise’s star at the position, he’s currently sidelined, and his latest concussion has some people thinking that Miami should consider adding a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft for extra insurance behind him.

There are certainly some talented quarterbacks in action across the country on Saturday if that’s something the Dolphins are keeping an eye on.

NFL legend Deion Sanders — the current head coach at the University of Colorado — has hinted at a scenario where his son Shedeur lands with the Dolphins. The younger Sanders is the current starting quarterback at Colorado, and he’s working on a stellar season.

Regarding some of the aforementioned games that the Dolphins have been linked to this weekend, Cade Klubnik (Clemson) and Carson Beck (Georgia) are a couple of high-profile quarterbacks for some of those teams.

Of course, as the Dolphins send scouts to games this season, they’re almost certainly looking at a variety of positions and a variety of players, but the quarterback topic is an interesting one to monitor.

The Dolphins are on their bye week after picking up a critical win over the New England Patriots last Sunday. They’ll return to action on Oct. 20 for another important game, this one against the Indianapolis Colts.
