The Dallas Cowboys have been off to a disappointing start to the 2024 season for their standards. While the team currently has a 3-2 record, the usual star power and dominance fans are used to seeing has been tamed by opposing defenses so far this season. Many analysts think that the Cowboys need to add another star receiver by the trade deadline, and it looks like they can be looking at doing so.
Dallas Cowboys Could Sign Star Receiver
The Cowboys are predicted to sign Cincinnati Bengals star receiver Tee Higgins by the trade deadline at the end of the month. Higgins has been in several trade rumors the past couple of seasons due to not getting the contract he desires from the Bengals.
Tee Higgins Rumor
The main reason for Higgins being a hot target for receiver-needy teams is the struggles for Cincinnati so far this season. The Bengals are 1-4 going into Week Six, and if they are not able to turn the tide and get back to a decent record by the trade deadline, stars like Higgins could be more willing to move on to another team.
Higgins has been one of the better receivers in the league despite being the second option to Ja’Marr Chase on the Bengals’ offense. He has amounted to 3,866 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns since being drafted in 2020 by Cincinnati. Many teams would love to add the star because of the playmaking ability he has consistently shown throughout his career, and having him on the Cowboys would take some eyes off of star CeeDee Lamb.
Do you think Dallas will try to add Higgins by the deadline, or will they try to target someone else?
