The mother-of-two, 29, who is currently expecting her third child with husband Patrick Mahomes, documented her kitchen adventures via her Instagram Stories on Thursday evening.

After enjoying a day at the zoo with her husband, 29, and two young children, Sterling, three, and Bronze, one, the blonde beauty decided to make a home-cooked meal for the family – something she confessed she hadn’t done in a while.

She posted a snap of her kitchen following the endeavor, which she described as a ‘disaster.’

It showed an extremely messy counter covered to the brim with various used dishes, pots, and cooking utensils, as well as a slew of ingredients – but despite the untidiness, she was extremely proud.

While it’s unclear what the wife of Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback made, it seemed to be a ‘hit’ among her family.

There was a plate on the counter that was completely empty, which meant that whoever it belonged to had eaten every bite.

‘I cooked dinner tonight for the first time in a very long time,’ she captioned the photo. ‘I think it was a hit.

‘A disaster of a kitchen…’ she added. ‘This is our life and I love it.’

An iPad and phone both playing different sporting events could also be seen in the snap so her husband could watch the games while he was eating.

‘Kids get to watch Bluey so dad has to do this,’ wrote Brittany, along with a laughing emoji.

The model also shared a video of her daughter Sterling sitting in her highchair alongside her mostly ‘cleared plate.’

‘Sterling, did you clear your plate too? Was it so good?’ she asked the toddler, who nodded and gave her seal of approval.

Brittany revealed on her Instagram that they got to go ‘behind the scenes’ and witnessed some ‘amazing things.’

They got to watch as zookeepers gave a baby giraffe a bottle, and they even got a chance to feed the creatures some leaves.

In addition, the family – who has a net worth of around $100 million – got a private viewing of a hippo feeding, before they got up close to a massive lion.

‘Bronze is scared of a lot of things, but was not scared of his lion,’ she captioned a shot that showed Patrick holding the toddler right near the lion cage.

‘In a complete stare off. Who won?’ she added alongside a second image of the youngster looking directly at the enormous animal.
