Dak Prescott recently witnessed the demolition of his Texas mansion, but it wasn’t an unexpected event. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback had orchestrated the teardown himself. Following a recent contract update, Prescott has been making significant changes, including plans to modernize his home.
According to TMZ, Prescott informed his neighbors ahead of time, assuring them that only a specific area was being torn down. In footage obtained by TMZ, the Cowboys star was seen standing just a few feet away, watching the demolition. Later, his girlfriend, Sarah Jane, joined him on site.

Dak Prescott purchased his Texas mansion in 2019 for approximately $3.3 million. Located in Prosper, Texas, about 48 miles north of Dallas, the house spans seven acres and boasts 20 rooms. Among its impressive features are a sports simulator room, a cinema room, and a games room equipped with a jumbotron and TVs on all four sides. The property also includes a separate gym and ample workspace.
However, the multi-million-dollar home didn’t fully meet Dak Prescott’s needs. Given that he is now the highest-paid player in NFL history, an upgrade was in order. Prescott’s recent contract extension includes a four-year, $240 million deal, with an $80 million signing bonus and $231 million guaranteed.
Dak Prescott’s neighbors once left a message in support in front of his house
In the 2020 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a gruesome ankle injury going into Week 5. The injury ruled him out for a while as it required surgery. While recovering, Prescott’s neighbors went ahead to show him their support.

Dak Prescott’s neighbors put up a massive support sign in front of his house. The sign wished Prescott a get well soon along with various cutouts of football and jerseys. The sign was even well placed in Cowboy colors.
At the time of Prescott’s injury, he had not been offered an extension and was about to hit free agency in 2021. However, as it turned out the QB stayed with the team for another contract. Despite the neighbors not being in control of the situation, they had Prescott’s back.
