The Baltimore Ravens recently took down the Buffalo Bills, 35-10 on “Sunday Night Football.”
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ victory over Buffalo helped Baltimore advance to 2-2 on the season. The dual-threat quarterback, along with running back Derrick Henry, led the Ravens to victory and the Bills’ first loss of the season.
Baltimore’s star quarterback finished the game with two touchdowns and 156 yards, completing 13-of-18 pass attempts. He also added one touchdown and 54 yards on the ground.
Henry, who’s playing in his first season in Baltimore after signing with the Ravens in the offseason, recorded one touchdown and 199 yards on the ground. The star running back also hauled on a receiving touchdown, adding 10 yards in the air.
This prime time matchup between the Ravens and the Bills proved to be one of the most anticipated games of the season, as the NBC Sports PR that the head-to-head battle against two Super Bowl contending teams added to a historic season for “Sunday Night Football.”
The NBC Sports press box’s official social media account revealed the Ravens’ “Sunday Night Football” victory averaged 22.3 million viewers and peaked at 25.1 million viewers.
NBC Sports PR added that “Sunday Night Football” has averaged just over 20 million viewers in each of its first five games during the 2024-25 NFL season, which is the best opening streak by the network since 2015.
