During Game 4 of the American League Division Series (ALDS) last week, Patrick Mahomes was present at the Kauffman Stadium to watch the Kansas City Royals clash against the New York Yankees. The quarterback was seen jumping around the box when the Royals tied the game. His former Chiefs teammate, Gehrig Dieter was also present in the box as he is a diehard fan of the Yankees.

Gehrig Dieter was a guest on the NFL Network’s ‘Good Morning Football’ on 18th October, Friday morning and said that Mahomes likes to trash talk about Baseball. But on the other hand, Kyle Brandt told Dieter that he was shocked to see how calm Mahomes is on the football field. He was also excited about the Royals scoring one run.

“He was more hyped for one Royals run than he was for his last Super Bowl. It was crazy,” Brandt said.

Recently Dieter was seen at the Yankee Stadium alongside Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift for Game 1 of the American League Championship Series (ALCS). The former NFL wide receiver played five seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs before announcing his retirement from the sport in June 2022.
