Travis Kelce<\/span>\u00a0was dethroned as the best tight end in the NFL in the eyes of many football fans on Sunday – by Tucker Kraft of the\u00a0Green Bay Packers<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Kraft was magnificent as the Packers beat the\u00a0LA Rams<\/span>\u00a024-19. He had four receptions for 88 yards, scoring two touchdowns in the process as his team moved to 2-2 for the season.<\/p>\n

Despite being six-foot-five and 259 pounds, Kraft hit a top speed of 19.70mph when he ran 66 yards for one of his touchdowns.<\/p>\n

It inevitably sparked comparisons to none other than\u00a0Kansas<\/span>\u00a0City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce – with some fans saying that Kraft has proven he is better than the three-time\u00a0Super Bowl<\/span>\u00a0winner.<\/p>\n

‘Tucker Kraft > Travis Kelce,’ wrote one fan on X. ‘Not even a debate,’<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old Packers player Kraft had a brilliant game in his team’s win over the Rams<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Another said: ‘Tucker Kraft is the new Travis Kelce.’<\/p>\n

Other fans were quick to herald Kraft as the best in the league for his position, with one saying: ‘Tucker Kraft is the best TE in football. Don\u2019t @ me.’<\/p>\n

A different fan said: ‘I’m not saying Tucker Kraft is the best TE in the NFL. Oh wait, actually that’s exactly what I’m saying.’<\/p>\n

While Kraft, 23, is enjoying a burgeoning reputation Kelce heads into Monday night’s Chiefs game against New Orleans Saints looking to continue his tentative resurgence in form.<\/p>\n

After struggling through the first three Chiefs games, Kelce recorded seven catches for 89 yards as his team won 17-10. Despite Kelce yet to find fifth gear, the Chiefs are 4-0 ahead of Monday’s game.<\/p>\n

Kelce, who turned 35 on Saturday, refuted claims earlier this week that the Chargers display was him back to his best.<\/p>\n

He said to his older brother Jason on their New Heights podcast: ‘Everything outside of the building is just noise… (but) big game? When is 89 yards a big game? It was a solid game, a big game is like I score a touchdown or something.<\/p>\n
