The\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/strong>\u00a0may have won their first four games in the 2024\u00a0NFL<\/strong>\u00a0season, but\u00a0Patrick Mahomes<\/strong>\u00a0hasn\u2019t been happy with his performances early in the year. Offensive coordinator\u00a0Matt Nagy<\/strong>, however, knows the quarterback\u00a0can be too hard on himself.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cStaying calm and going back the basics<\/strong><\/em>,\u201d Nagy said of Mahomes\u2019 struggles. \u201cWe\u2019ve had a lot of great things happen in this offense because of him<\/strong>. There\u2019s a lot of things that happen within one play, whether it\u2019s a protection, whether it\u2019s a throw or whether it\u2019s a wrong route that happens on an interception.<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n The three-time Super Bowl champ and two-time\u00a0NFL\u00a0MVP is arguably considered the best quarterback in the league, which is why\u00a0many were surprised to see him throw five interceptions<\/strong>\u00a0in four weeks.<\/p>\n Mahomes\u2019 68.6 completion percentage has also raised eyebrows, but Nagy wants the\u00a0Chiefs\u00a0star\u00a0to stay calm<\/strong>.
