Sunday Night Football was delayed indefinitely when thunderstorms passed through Pittsburgh for the Steelers game against\u00a0Dallas Cowboys<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Originally scheduled to begin at 8:20 p.m. ET, the game was delayed ‘until further notice’ with storms in the area.<\/p>\n

A message on screens at Acrisure Stadium told fans they were allowed to stay in their seats as the players waited in the locker room for an update on the start time.<\/p>\n

The city itself was under a severe thunderstorm watch warning in\u00a0Pennsylvania<\/span>. Heavy rain was falling on the stadium and television footage on NBC showed lightning hitting the area too..<\/p>\n

Zach Wolchuk, of Dallas radio station 1053 The Fan, shared an ominous video on X of rain and strong winds at the stadium and captioned the video: ‘This game isn\u2019t starting soon.’<\/p>\n
