Patrick Mahomes<\/strong>\u00a0hasn’t had the best of starts to the 2024 NFL season, but that doesn’t mean the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0<\/strong>star has lost any standing within the football community.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs are currently 4-0 despite what has been a sluggish season for\u00a0Mahomes,<\/strong>\u00a0who has thrown six touchdowns, but also five interceptions, to go along with 904 yards.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless,\u00a0Mahomes<\/strong>\u00a0remains a key figure in the NFL world, with the now retired\u00a0Peyton Manning\u00a0<\/strong>heaping praise on the 29-year-old.<\/p>\n

Manning\u00a0<\/strong>holds plenty of NFL records thanks to his illustrious playing days, and he expects\u00a0Mahomes\u00a0<\/strong>to break many of them whenever he wants.<\/p>\n

“I\u00a0feel like all my records are gonna be broken,”\u00a0Manning<\/strong>\u00a0stated on ‘Up & Adams’.<\/p>\n

“I think\u00a0Mahomes<\/strong>\u00a0is just kind of picking this year-he wants to break it. He’s like, ‘I’m going to break\u00a0Manning’s record\u00a0<\/strong>this year.’ I only get that in the reception record that I set as a rookie off my resume-that would happen… but I’m good with it.”<\/p>\n
