Brittany Mahomes shared a cryptic message on Instagram following backlash over her Donald Trump endorsement and rumors of a feud with Taylor Swift.<\/strong><\/p>\n With Brittany Mahomes caught in the middle in a beef between her friend –\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/span>, and her presidential candidate of choice –\u00a0Donald Trump<\/span>, the wife of Chiefs QB\u00a0Patrick Mahomes<\/span>\u00a0posted a cryptic message on her Instagram story.<\/p>\n As the November election approaches, political tension in the United States is at some of the highest it’s ever been in the country’s history.<\/p>\n It’s become so divisive that some believed that a wedge would be driven in the friendship between Swift and Brittany Mahomes.<\/p>\n Seemingly unprompted, Brittany took to her Instagram story on Thursday and posted a quote from another account.<\/p>\n The quote read, ‘Be the reason why people believe in beautiful souls, kind hearts, and good energy. Never stop being a good person.’<\/p>\n Brittany Mahomes posted this cryptic message to her Instagram story on Thursday<\/p>\n<\/div>\n This comes as Mahomes (L) and Taylor Swift (R) swat rumors of a rift in their friendship<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Despite their differing political opinions, it appears that Brittany and Taylor remain friends, with DailyMail.com sources reporting previously that there’s no bad blood between the two.<\/p>\n Another source exclusively told DailyMail.com that they\u00a0‘respect that they have different views’<\/span>\u00a0and have made a ‘pact’ to avoid discussing politics in August.<\/p>\n The crux of the situation\u00a0came in mid-September, when Swift publicly endorsed Harris for president after a debate between the Vice President and former President Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n That led to Trump posting on his Truth Social account: ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!’ in all capital letters.Swift’s endorsement post garnered over 11million likes on Instagram and reportedly led to over 330,000 visits to Vote.gov, a federal voter registration site that Swift linked to in her post.<\/p>\n Trump had criticized Swift before his ‘HATE’ post, saying that he likes ‘Mrs. Mahomes much better’ – referencing Brittany.<\/p>\n It’s been inferred that Brittany is a supporter of Trump’s after she ‘liked’ a post from his campaign’s Instagram account –<\/span>\u00a0leading to reactions from both sides of the aisle.<\/p>\n Rumors of a split grew further the more that Swift showed up to Kansas City Chiefs games, as she hasn’t been seen with Mahomes in the luxury box.<\/p>\n Swift and Mahomes have not sat next to each other at any of the Chiefs’ games this season<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Trump wrote on Truth Social ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!’ back in mid-September<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Swift missed the last two games, but could make a return for this week’s game at home<\/p>\n<\/div>\n However, the two have attended various social gatherings together –\u00a0including Patrick Mahomes’ 29th birthday party<\/span>\u00a0as well as the\u00a0US Open men’s singles tennis final in the beginning of September<\/span>.<\/p>\n Tension in the country surrounding the election has been highlighted by two assassination attempts on Donald Trump.<\/p>\n First, Trump was\u00a0shot in the ear back on July 13 at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.<\/span>\u00a0His injuries were non-life-threatening, but a man on the crowd – 50-year-old Corey Comperatore – was killed. The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was ultimately killed by Secret Service snipers.<\/p>\n In September, a second failed assassination occurred\u00a0when Ryan Wesley Routh was found and arrested outside Trump’s club<\/span>\u00a0in West Palm Beach, Florida.
