However, head coach\u00a0Mike McCarthy\u00a0may have put those rumors to rest.<\/p>\n<div data-stn-player=\"n2psbctm\"><\/div>\n<p>McCarthy coached Adams in Green Bay from 2014 \u2013 2018, and on Wednesday, he spoke to reporters about his former player and the team\u2019s interest in the situation.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cPlayer acquisition is something that always goes on,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he said.<em>\u00a0\u201cAnd I\u2019ve never gotten in the habit of talking about players on other teams because I don\u2019t know if anything good that comes out of that.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cPersonally, I have tremendous love and respect for Davante.
