This part of Texas leans heavily conservative and the Biden\/Harris administration isn\u2019t held in high regard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of the working class people that live around me feel that the administration gone from not working for us to working against us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Swift has provoked the ire of\u00a0Donald Trump\u00a0supporters in recent weeks after\u00a0endorsing his rival Kamala Harris for president.<\/p>\n<p>In the days following Swift\u2019s announcement,\u00a0Trump\u00a0took to his\u00a0Truth Social\u00a0platform to write: \u201cI HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Swift\u2019s endorsement\u00a0drove more than 400,000 visitors to the vote.gov website in under 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will be casting my vote for\u00a0Kamala Harris\u00a0and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,\u201d Swift wrote in an Instagram post soon after Harris and Trump met in a televised debate. \u201cIf you haven\u2019t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sharing a photo of herself holding her cat Benjamin Button from last year\u2019s\u00a0<em>Time\u00a0<\/em>magazine shoot \u2013 when the publication named her its person of the year \u2013 she wrote: \u201cLike many of you, I watched the debate tonight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cat seemed to be a reference to Trump\u2019s running mate JD Vance who\u00a0told former\u00a0<em>Fox News<\/em>\u00a0host Tucker Carlson in a 2021 interview that the country was run\u00a0by \u201ca bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they\u2019ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Swift also mentioned AI-generated images, previously shared by Trump on Truth Social, falsely suggesting she was endorsing him for president, and called out the \u201cdangers of spreading misinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She wrote: \u201cRecently I was made aware that AI of \u2018me\u2019 falsely endorsing Donald Trump\u2019s presidential run was posted to his site.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt really conjured up my fears around AI and the dangers of spreading misinformation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She added: \u201cI\u2019ve done my research, and I\u2019ve made my choice.
