Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice and fellow\u00a0Kansas<\/span>\u00a0City wideouts are backing\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/span>\u00a0amid a rough start to the NFL season.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the reigning\u00a0Super Bowl<\/span>\u00a0champions’ Sunday night showdown against the\u00a0Los Angeles<\/span>\u00a0Chargers, Rice and the receivers sported custom Travis Kelce t-shirts to support the tight end.<\/p>\n

While the Chiefs are a perfect 3-0 to start the season, Kelce has been receiving plenty of backlash for his underwhelming performances.<\/p>\n

Across three games, Kelce has made eight receptions for 69 yards and zero touchdowns – which are low counts for his standards.<\/p>\n

Last season, Kelce had 17 catches for 155 yards and two touchdowns three games into the campaign.<\/p>\n

Despite the Chiefs being 3-0 to start the season, Kelce’s numbers have been underwhelming<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The vintage style shirts featured a collage of Kelce’s pictures with ‘Travis’ printed in red on top of the front and the tight end’s surname in gold at the bottom. The back has the world ‘Dreamathon’ printed in gold on top and three photos of Kelce celebrating under it.<\/p>\n

According to CBS Sports’\u00a0Tracy Wolfson, ‘Rashee Rice got them for all the WRs to honor their leader and a guy who has mentored all of them especially Rice.’<\/p>\n

While Kelce has struggled in the opening games, Rice and Xavier Worthy have stepped up to the plate and led the team in receptions.<\/p>\n

Rice’s start has been productive with 24 receptions for 288 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Worthy made six receptions 81 yards, and a touchdown.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs opened their season with a 27-20 win over the Ravens, a 26-25 win over the Bengals, and a 22-17 victory over the Falcons.<\/p>\n
