Tom Brady\u00a0won\u2019t make it two straight games of being in the booth to call a former team\u2019s game.<\/p>\n

The FOX analyst won\u2019t be on the call when the\u00a0New England Patriots take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 5,\u00a0ESPN\u2019s Mike Reiss reported Sunday, adding Dolphins quarterback\u00a0Tua Tagovailoa being sidelined with a concussion\u00a0coupled with the Patriots struggling on national television in Week 3 \u201ctook some national luster off the matchup.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brady returning to call a game for a team he won six Super Bowls with would have been a story line in itself. But the Patriots were blown out by the New York Jets on \u201cThursday Night Football\u201d and haven\u2019t played well in three games. The Dolphins, meanwhile, are playing their third-string quarterback after\u00a0Tagovailoa\u00a0and\u00a0Skylar Thompson\u00a0were both injured.<\/p>\n

Both teams are 1-2 going into their respective Week 4 matchups.<\/p>\n

Brady was on the mic for the Bucs\u2019 Week 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles and\u00a0had the chance to respond\u00a0to Baker Mayfield saying the team was \u201cstressed out\u201d with Brady in the locker room.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought stressful was not having Super Bowl rings,\u201d\u00a0Brady said.. \u201cThere was a mindset of a champion that I took to work every day. This wasn\u2019t daycare. If I was going to have fun, I was going to Disneyland with my kids. There\u2019s a way to approach this game. And it\u2019s with the with the right mindset, and try to push each other outside of our comfort zone, and great teammates do that. I had someone like (Rob) Gronkowski, had someone like (Mike) Evans. There\u2019s high expectations for us. We\u2019ve got to make sure we go out there and deliver. No apologies.\u201d<\/p>\n
