Two key defenders in\u00a0DeMarcus Lawrence\u00a0and Micah Parsons both got hurt. While Parsons is expected to be alright,\u00a0Lawrence&#8217;s ailment is more serious.<\/p>\n<div class=\"aspect-video w-full\">\n<div class=\"not-prose flex aspect-video w-full items-center justify-center\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Lawrence is dealing with a foot injury\u00a0that is expected\u00a0to keep him out for 4-8 weeks, which means a stint on the IR will be in the cards. But, he won&#8217;t require surgery. Via Todd Archer:<\/p>\n<div class=\"not-prose align-center\">\n<div class=\"min-w-[300px] overflow-x-hidden text-center font-secondary uppercase my-2.5 min-h-[280px] md:min-h-[250px]\">\n<div id=\"content_1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cAccording to multiple sources, DeMarcus Lawrence is dealing with a Lisfranc injury to his right foot but because the bones were not displaced he will not require surgery. He could need 4-8 weeks to recover and is likely heading to injured reserve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The injury happened in the third quarter\u00a0of Thursday&#8217;s victory. While the Cowboys have a bye week during this time period, Lawrence will likely miss 3-7 games. That is far from ideal. Dallas is reportedly exploring the idea of adding another pass rusher as a result. On Friday, Stephen Jones didn&#8217;t sound too optimistic about Lawrence&#8217;s injury:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[DeMarcus Lawrence] is probably a little bit longer, in terms of how long he&#8217;ll take,\u201d Jones explained, via Cowboys.com. \u201cBut all of these things will be situations that \u2014 as we get our hands around them over the next couple of days \u2014 we&#8217;ll see where they go.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"not-prose flex w-full flex-col gap-4 divide-y divide-solid divide-[#58585820] bg-[#FAFAFA] px-4 pt-5\">\n<div class=\"flex items-center justify-between\">\n<div class=\"flex flex-col\">\n<article class=\"article-body prose max-w-none pb-7 pt-5 prose-figure:max-w-full prose-ol:pl-10 prose-img:max-w-full prose-video:max-w-full md:prose-ol:pl-6 [&amp;_iframe]:m-auto [&amp;_iframe]:block [&amp;_iframe]:max-w-full\">Lawrence was off to a solid start this season, collecting seven solo tackles and 14 total tackles. He also had 3.0 sacks. The Cowboys&#8217; defense isn&#8217;t exactly thriving though, allowing 26 points per game. That ranks 24th in the NFL.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to Parsons, he&#8217;s currently week-to-week.
