And to dive deep, we recently had the Gilbert Arenas crew to help everybody find out the real winner.<\/p>\n

Media veteran Bomani James said, \u201cI feel like the difference between Mike and Kobe and LeBron. LeBron likes winning. Michael Jordan likes beating people. He (Michael Jordan) wants to beat people. He is a sociopath, He wants you to lose. I don\u2019t think LeBron is built in that way.<\/em>\u201d The 44-year-old continued on \u2018Gil\u2019s Arena<\/em>\u00a0Season 2 Finale\u2019,\u00a0\u201cKobe is the same way. He wants you to lose and one-on-one is not so much about winning as much as I want to beat this person that is directly across me.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

The ex-ESPN employee\u2019s suggestion of similarity between Kobe and Michael Jordan is nothing new. That\u2019s why even MJ chose Kobe earlier, knowing about the similar playing style and drive. That\u2019s why even Bryant claimed he could beat LeBron James in 2010.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d win, I\u2019d win, I mean, that\u2019s what I do,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0the\u00a0Lakers legend said without hesitation, just like Michael Jordan. Then, Kobe was on a tour to the London School of Basketball in 2010. Interestingly, visiting the same place a year later was LeBron James. So naturally the question came up, which the 40-year-old was tired of.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m a team basketball player; it\u2019s not a 1 on 1 sport. But I\u2019m not gonna not take myself against anybody, I always feel that no matter who I\u2019m going against that I will come out victorious.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Bron even stressed on the part that the situation wouldn\u2019t take place in real life because basketball was a team sport. He ended the interview with, \u201cSo y\u2019all can stop asking me that question<\/em>.\u201d Even though we couldn\u2019t watch prime Michael Jordan vs LeBron, this generation\u2019s MJ also claimed that he would beat LeBron.<\/p>\n

Last year, on a podcast, Anthony Edwards said he was always looking for the matchup during the games. The Wolves star even stated that during the games against the Lakers, he would try to beat LeBron James. But the plan is incomplete because the purple and gold franchise end up double-teaming against him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always try to do that versus LeBron, but it never goes. It never goes as planned because they always double team me. I think that I always try to, like, cook LeBron \u2019cause I know everybody, you know, he\u2019s the best player in the league right now.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Apart from the Lakers star, he also enjoys facing his favorite player Kevin Durant.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been the best player for a long time. I think that\u2019s the main person who I try to cook, him or KD. But like LeBron and them never, they never guard me one-on-one.<\/em>\u201d So as LeBron James mentioned in the 2011 interview, the 1v1 situation doesn\u2019t really happen on the court. But Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Anthony Edwards have always been confident of beating the Lakers star.<\/p>\n
