You learn the most from things you don\u2019t do well. Hopefully, if this is something he wants to do, he\u2019ll get better at it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-6_52\">Donna will make her own acting debut later this year in a pair of Hallmark Channel holiday movies. In\u00a0<em>Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>she plays the manager of a Kansas City barbecue restaurant. In the Philadelphia-set\u00a0<em>Christmas on Call,<\/em>\u00a0she plays a woman who works at a Philly cheesesteak spot.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-travis-kelce-plays-a-nurse-in-fx-s-grotesquerie\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Travis Kelce plays a nurse in FX\u2019s \u2018Grotesquerie\u2019<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"emb-2\" class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Grotesquerie | Coming Up This Season | Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. He plays a bed nurse.<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-8_43\">\u201cI cannot wait to see everybody\u2019s reaction of me being in a mystery thriller. Kinda scary. What the f*ck is going on? It\u2019ll get you thinking now,\u201d Travis said to his brother Jason Kelce in a recent episode of their<em>\u00a0<\/em><em>New Heights<\/em>\u00a0podcast.<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-9_58\">The 10-episode\u00a0<em>Grotesquerie<\/em>\u00a0focuses on a small town unsettled by a series of disturbing crimes. Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash-Betts) feels the crimes are personal and that someone \u2013 or something \u2013 is taunting her. She turns to Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond), a nun\/journalist for help, and as they investigate, they find themselves ensnared in a sinister web.<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-10_40\"><em>Grotesquerie\u00a0<\/em>\u201chas it all,\u201d Murphy teased when talking to Variety. That includes a \u201ccrazy serial killer,\u201d a detective who\u2019s a \u201cblackout alcoholic,\u201d a \u201ctrue-crime obsessed nun,\u201d and \u201can equally true-crime obsessed priest, who\u2019s also a Peloton instructor on the side.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-11_30\">Though the subject matter is twisted, Kelce is \u201ca nice guy,\u201d said Courtney B. Vance, who stars in the show. He hopes that Kelce\u2019s casting gets people to tune in.<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-12_21\">It \u201cjust helps us. It helps everybody,\u201d he said. \u201cRyan is all about publicity, and he does it better than anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-13_16\"><em>Grotesquerie<\/em>\u202fairs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET\/PT on FX.
